The Bastian Brothers Company

 The Bastian Brothers Company was founded in 1895 by brothers Theron and Frederick Bastian in Rochester, New York, and began as a jewelry store before becoming a prominent manufacturer of custom award and recognition products, such as lapel pins, medallions, badges, and decorative emblems. The company was also known for being one of the first union shops in Rochester and remains a totally unionized firm today, producing items like paperweights, key tags, and advertising signs for various businesses and organizations.   

Bastian Brothers car emblems were unique for their high-quality craftsmanship, incorporating a die-struck brass foundation, multiple colors of fired-on glass enamel, and chrome plating. As a leading supplier of automotive emblems for many years, the company's meticulous manufacturing process gave their products a distinct and durable appearance.
